Becks Failure To Retract Global Warming Advocacy Provokes Online Firestorm Paul Joseph Watson Prison Planet.com Friday, February 26, 2010 Glenn Beck has failed to respond to a firestorm of reaction to his comments made during a February 21st interview with USA Weekend magazine in which he completely reversed his position on climate change by revealing that he believed in man-made global warming. As we reported earlier this week, Beck appeared to stab his conservative audience in the back when he told USA Weekend magazine that man-made climate change was occurring in an article entitled Dont judge Beck by his cover. In the article, Beck tells interviewer Dennis McCafferty, Youd be an idiot not to notice the temperature change. He also says theres a legit case that global warming has, at least in part, been caused by mankind, writes McCafferty, under the sub headline, He believes in global warming. The blogosphere is on fire with reaction to McCaffertys USA Weekend piece, according to World Net Dailys Chelsea Schilling, who pointed out that posters on the prominent conservative forum Free Republic were furious at Beck for seemingly performing a huge flip-flop on the issue. @aren1085 50/50 my ass. In a recent survey of earth scientists 82% agreed that global warming is caused by humans and that number goes up to 97% when only those that are active in research are counted. That is far from “50/50.”
@kubush i totally agree with you that there is global warning, the problem is we only recieve one side by the media, and they blame it all all carbon emissions, but they fail to tell us that the sun is goin through sun flare phases, and that is a key part of the warming process, they also dont tell us that the scientists are split 50-50 on the causes of global warning, the media is biased and only feeds us the info they want us to know. all this other info i had to get online

@Terra7Q We are producing far more CO2 than the earth can recycle. At the same time deforestation is happening around the globe at an incredible rate. Obviously, scientists have taken into account natural temp trends, including solar activity, and the conclusion is without a doubt, human induced global warming.

There are far more dangerous environmentally detrimental additives placed in what would be health eco-systems. There is no profit in keeping the earth in a condition respectable for future generations in the monetary system.

Uhh since you’know the earth would be a frozen ball of ice if the sun suddenly vanished. It’s not to much of a stretch to assume the sun is associated with the earth’s temperate fluctuations. Carbon dioxide can only cause permanent heat gain in confined areas. You have to realize it is all being merged into all areas of the atmosphere. There are enough plants on earth to sustain any amount of carbon dioxide put out by man.
As long as there continues to be enough organisms that require it.
Alex Jones is INSANE. Alex LIES all the time. Someone can believe that the Earth can be warming and not believe it is caused by humans. The Earth has been warming for 10,000 years. That is why all the ice has melted, moron.
