we have had runaway cycles in the past that caused mass extinctions.
Seems that the natural balance would change for year to year, as would the anthropocentric additions to the equations, so that we have to keep below a selected thresholds in our carbon footprints to keep from triggering the global catastrophe to the point of a runaway cycle, if such a thing can actually exist here.
