Climate of Extremes: Global Warming Science They Don’t Want You to Know

The authors of this book have accepted much of the money from the fossil fuel industry should not come as a surprise to iedereen.Ze sit in it for the money and they know that all who watch Fox News would be interested to read of these non- science-related literatuur.Rating: 2 / 5
Another attack on science and sense of shame “climatologist” and paid for coal Flack Patrick Michaels, eagerly licking the “everything is good, good!” audience, and of course it comes in the wonderfully conspiratorial “what they do not want you to know!” Format. All tables and graphs can not hide the fact that consistent data elements cherry-essay – is exactly what he accuses extremists of support to Michael. The motives of the global warming extremists? Money seems, though he is a bit unclear on how, exactly, people become rich by exaggerating the dangers of klimaatverandering.Michaels, whose Orwellian-monikered typical New Hope Environmental Services supported by payments from the public coal combustion, is an example of delusional self-justification Casebook , sense in this ridiculous book. No doubt that he convinced himself that his “scientific objectivity” happen to coincide with its economic interests, such as “scientists” who touted the safety of DDT, asbestos, or “doctor” as radium and processing plutonium, which is recommended for what for you – charlatans who Today could well be waived if not completely vergeten.En to reviewers who complain that alter the status quo is untenable becomes “expensive”: compared to what? Take a trip to Shanghai for a look at your future, and good luck to explain why your grandson would prefer to keep their heads in the sand while the world was warmer. And God, I wish you people were right. I really do. Rating: 1 / 5
I was skeptical about the book before I read it and read it does not change my mind. I took a degree in meteorology and climatology, and was an Air Force meteorologist and as an active reserve officer for 11 years. Although it was long ago, I have the climate problem for many years. My skepticism was strengthened at the beginning of the book and the author tried to show that global warming deniers have been prevented and rejected because of their positions. The case of the assistant state climatologist for Washington, who was fired because he refused to stop e-mail to journalists and anyone who views, was touted as proof of his case. After working for the U.S. government, I could assure him that if your boss tells you not to e-mail, you stop. If you work for a government agency you are working within the rules of your office and that usually means approval for all to enter to the public. If you do not agree with the Agency, stop. I guess it’s different if you worked at Boeing or some other association. The book itself is a masterfully written collection of tables and explanations that the average person would find confusing. I do not have access to all trials to confirm or refute the authors’ claims. It is not written for anyone not working in the field. On page 66, the authors also refused a scientist for the raw data that is sent to an investigator, because the intention was to try to find something wrong with the data. Apparently, some deniers have a reputation for manipulating data. As a layman I have noticed that most of the line graphs will all corrections in most cases, the rising temperatures. The real proof of climate change, not numbers on a chart, but changes in vegetation, nesting habits of birds, lichens are dying, glaciers are melting ice, thawing permafrost, etc. This book had good graphics, but the details are not the views of climage change anything about us to compensate. I thought it was a waste of time and money to read. Actually working in the field, but should read and analyze the work. I do not think we have all the answers about the extent of global warming now or in the future, but the problem I think is very, very seriously. Rating: 1 / 5
There’s a new world of global warming science to get people to hear about: a number of scientific studies and argued that global warming exists, it is not doomsday version. Extreme climatic conditions derived from two climate scientists who explain the prejudices of the environment and provide science closer examination of the popular apocalyptic visions of change in relation to other perceptions of the problem. Perfect for high school to university research and debat.Waardering: 5 / 5
somewhat technical, but a good scientific antidote to global warming hysteria forest. Hopefully they will quickly move to the next deterrent. Rating: 5 / 5
