At a Technical College in Wisconsin. I even emailed my paper to Al Gore since he was Vice President at the time and never heard a word back from him. But then again, I didn’t expect to since I was arguing against him.
audiences lack of knowledge of that term to manipulate what he was saying, quite effectively though… From my point of view it seems pretty much every quote used had been “quote mined” in a sense just for manipulation or maybe just publicity…
I don’t get it, if these global warming advocates have got caught in some lie, and that means the skeptics would be right, why do these skeptics have to keep lying and use such dishonest tactics??

I’m not taking any side but when observing both positions, it seems the global warming skeptics fit the manner you sarcastically display much better than global warming advocates.
I’m not sure whether you even bothered to actually read that article, well besides the headline, but nowhere did I find him saying that. The only thing the head cat did say was regarding any statistical significant global warming, and it seems the guy who wrote the article used the
Call it global warming, call it climate change, call it how’s yo momma. The simple fact is that WE, the human race, are fucking up this planet, BADLY. And If WE, the human race, don’t open our eyes, realize it, and back off, this planet is going to get even.
So yeah, “It won’t happen in my lifetime.” Cool. Is this the legacy you want to dump on your children? Or their children?

Hey, I know what will solve global warming. Lets crank up our mercury production in China and federally mandate every household in the world to use mercury laden light bulbs. If they were so concerned, why no talk of advances in trash disposal. Why not a trash tax. Instead we will putting toxic mercury gas into every house and then into the landfills and thus watersupply eventually- worse than it already is. The Elite loves theirs mercurys.

Yeah thems nuts can use facts to prove all sorts a truths, but that doesn’t change what I believe. I believe in al gore. I believe we have to stop usin em fossily fuels, I believe we can only cope, in hagen. And isn’t barrack awesome? I’d love to join his youth movement (just got Déjà vu and a spine chill) but i’m in my 20’s so I cant.

The other thing is, this isn’t just a few highly paid, rogue scientists that theorized climate change. The scientific community as a whole has widely accepted climate change theory. Conservatives in general don’t want to believe they are capable of bringing humans to extinction. Like evolution, it just doesn’t fit into their religious beliefs. Bringing about the beginning and the end is God’s job.
I’ve read the scientists’ defense of the following:
Ive just completed Mikes Nature trick of adding in the real temps to each series for the last 20 years (ie from 1981 onwards) and from 1961 for Keiths to hide the decline.
Here’s what they say.
“A trick, in the jargon of scientists, is an ingenious way of overcoming a problem. Mikes trick involved juxtaposing observed temperature records to hide a false decline implied by tree-ring temperature data known to be partly inaccurate.”
I wrote a term paper for college in 1997 about Global Warming and found tons of evidence that all the models scientist used were flawed and incomplete.
My professor scoffed at me and actually gave me one grade lower than I deserved because I argued facts. The Dean of the Department backed up the professor saying my paper was supposed to ’support’ the scientist, not debunk them.
Talk about covering up lies and inacurate facts at the lowest level let alone the top.

Everyone seems to jump on board being skeptics, That isnt productive at all. Why not look into facts and miss haps to forumulate a rounded view on the argument. The fact is global warming is gonna turn into another way to rape you through taxes so the people in power can line there pockets and think of the next bullshit things they can come out with and publish in your fucking shitty biased newspapers!
