Ok, I can understand that climate is indefinate, but why does it only get hotter?! I can remember summer as a kid getting to like 97 and THAT was hot! Now we have 100+ with NO hint of it lowering? Come now, what’s up with that?

The ice core data shows that the Earth is not warming and Michael Mann the creator of the “hockey stick graph” has now admitted there has been no warming since 1995. More than 30,000 scientists have sued Al Gore for lying in his science fiction movie. It may be warm in the summer where you are but the weather is supposed to be like that. Climate changes and has always changed.

I have no clue what you’re talking about, our summers have reached the highest numbers in years and you say it’s getting COOLING?! What fucking part of this make believe world do you live in because I’d sure as hell would love to live in a state that’s not busting 100+ degrees!!!

I’m not talking about “one snowfall” I’m talking about the last 12 years that have gotten cooler which contradicts the claim that billions of tons of co2 in the atmosphere causes the Earth to heat up. The Earth was much warmer before in the medievel warm period. I know what climate is, it’s just weather averaged over long periods of time.

Right, the only proof the IPCC offers is a unproven theory layers in 50,000 feet of atmosphere has reflection raising the temp maybe a few tenths of 1 degree F from a 100 ppm increase in CO2, then the models claim there is an amplyfing effect over time, for example more snow melts from a few tenths increase causing more dark land causing more warming, etc or a positive loopback.
Here’s the thing. Suppose the naysayers are right. Since they can’t agree with each other either, I’m specifically talking about the ones that say the warming is natural, and not man-made, and has happened “before we took our first shit.” Well, back then, we weren’t so dependent on agriculture, cross-continental commerce, electricity, flight, … lots of things that are pretty fragile against large scale changes in weather trends. Shouldn’t we examine the consequences now rather than later?
No, they renamed it Climate Change because even if the average temperature of the planet goes up, some regions may experience a decrease in temperature. They also renamed it because every time there was a big snow storm somewhere (ANYWHERE), people who didn’t understand anything about what “climate” is would say, “haha, so much for global warming.” As if one incident was somehow proof or disproof of decades/centuries of climate trends.
The only people coming here are the Al Gore zombies? Have you read ANY of the comments? Most of them are blasting GW, or complimenting 2’s humor.
There’s no laboratory in the world that can come close to the complexity of the global climate. The only way to model the climate is with accurate instrumentation from around the planet for a long period of time. Thanks to political/sovereignty issues, it’s very difficult to get accurate climate measurements in some parts of the world. So there’s a lot of extrapolation and guesswork to try to fill in those blanks, which results in a less useful model.

This report is driving climate change hysteria and causing the world to increase debt to fight an unfounded “global warming caused by humans” farce. The true data being now revealed is making an idealogical and elitist scientific group look like fools. Their greed for funding has turned them into political puppets.

This is probably one of the few things where i disagree with 2. Considering that volcanic eruptions chuch out more carbon dioxide and worse greenhouse gasses than mankind has produced in its entire history, it is hard to imagine that we are having such a drastic effect as some would lead you to believe. Environmentalisim is an industry now, and has taxes.. go figure. Not to mention that our planet is still in the ass end of an ice age and heating up naturally anyway.
