    In addition to reading books about how humans affect the biosphere there are many studies worth reading about. Here’s a recent one.

    Google… New Study: Humans Are Causing Climate Change

    And here’s a good site that explains much.

    Google… NAS Global Warming 2008 Edition

  • ReduceGHGs:

    No kidding. Did you think that I was an expert? I’m flattered but no. I read what they have to say. If you have better sources of information, as I’ve already requested, lets see it. So far all I read from your is just your opinion. How about reading the opinions of respected institutions like AAAS, SOCC, AGU, NAS, NCAR, NOAA, NASA, and many others.

    I recommend avioding the delusion that you have this figured out. It’s unlikely that you’ve read much about it. I can suggest some books.

    @ReduceGHGs
    then can i find fault with you not being one of those experts you say so attimently have a clue?
    i never clamed to be an english^major .

  • ReduceGHGs:

    You can ALWAYS find fault in anything, especially if it is a complex human endeavor. Try taking the IPCC completely out of the picture. What are you left with?

    I noticed you again offered no evidence. Baseless criticism is worth nothing.

    And I recommend leaving the temp analysis to those that have a clue.

  • areyoulookinatmepal:

    @ReduceGHGs
    there are record cold temps.all over the world,
    GLOBAL WARMING?

  • areyoulookinatmepal:

    @ReduceGHGs
    you mean like the fair and honest experts at the ippc? you only know what you’ve been told.are you a scientist,or do you play one on tv?even if a new study shows humans didn’t cause it you wouldn’t believe it

  • ReduceGHGs:

    If you or anyone has a reasonable argument that is backed up by respected studies or scientific institutions, please, BRING IT ON! I’d love to be wrong. The sad fact is that there is no credible debate amoung those that actively study the issue. Among the uninformed, a pointless debate rages on.

  • ReduceGHGs:

    @whyareyounotlooking

    The science isn’t mine. What, did you your really thing it was?

    The science goes back over 30 years. EVERY respected scientific institution or study that I’ve seen or heard of tells the same story. It’s a major leap of illogic to say that greed forced all those scientists to lie. The studies span the globe.

    Just saying it isn’t so isn’t enough. How about some evidence. ONE respeced study? How about ONE respected scientific institution?

  • RichLOAguy:

    A barrel floating in the ocean will grow a seaweed farm. It would be easy to create rainforest sized algae farms mid ocean. The seaweed farms would photosynthesis, as well as the lifeforms themselves would be made of carbon.
    Cheap. Proactive. Harmless.
    Also mid ocean seaweed (algae) farms could be towed to counties in need for emergency food fuel.
    No downside.
    Build seaweed farms from shore and tow them out to sea and anchor them. Polluting companies could sponsor the low costs.
    Win Win Win

    your science is flawed,the data is tainted by greed

    @ReduceGHGs
    yt is currently only letting me use less that 250 characters,sometimes less.i just tried to post a 270 character comment,heartfelt this has happened hundreds of times.i cant write short heartfelt comments,so i just stop commenting

  • ReduceGHGs:

    Gore isn’t a scientist. NONE of the scientific information he’s been telling the public about came from him.

    Let’s say if you were to ask James Hansen to debate the issue. Doing so would give a level of credibility to the deniers’ position where none is due. If you want a REAL debate that represents the state of the science they have a representative sample on each side; about 97 scientists that understand a crisis is occurring vs. 3 “scientists” that have no studies. Now THAT is fair.

  • areyoulookinatmepal:

    @ReduceGHGs why wouldn’t peace prize winner gore debate with anyone ?or his climate scientist experts,they were a bunch of the other word for kitties,i dont know how old you are,i dont wanna use bad language to a little girl,or boy

  • ReduceGHGs:

    Yes, on the core issue they concur.
    HUMANS are warming the planet mostly by burning fossil fuels and clearing the land. The consequences aren’t good.

    Then there’s the cry… “grants, grants, grants,…” Yes, much of the research is done not for profit. Why is that?

    I noticed you have NO studies and NOT ONE respected institution that agrees with you. Why is that? Could it be that you’re wrong? Nah! You’re right because you BELIEVE you’re right. LOL! Enjoy the delusion.

  • areyoulookinatmepal:

    @ReduceGHGs
    all those organizations didn’t have the same readings.

    who was footing the research funds for most of their grants?
    and who were taking so called credible information from ippc,thats now tainted

  • ReduceGHGs:

    Why is it that deniers have NO respected studies or scientific institutions to back up their beliefs. It is well established science that humans are degrading our only habitat. Climate change is but ONE symptom.

    Here’s a new article about a recent study.

    Google… Climate change human link evidence ’stronger’

    If deniers choose not to believe the evidence that’s their problem. But it is denial. I recommend a reality check; a check of the current state of the science.

  • ReduceGHGs:

    @areyoulookingforthetruth

    A second opinion? How about a third, forth, fifth, sixth, …

    AAAS, NASA, SOCC, NCAR, NOAA, AGU, AIP, AMS, CMOS, and more.

    What deniers can’t find is a FIRST credible opinon that agrees with nay sayers like coleman. coleman has no study and he has no related formal education.

    Sure, look for other opinions but they need to be credible, reliable, etc.

    FMI try UCSUSA(dot)org

  • areyoulookinatmepal:

    @ReduceGHGs
    or get a second opinion?

  • areyoulookinatmepal:

    @TrickyEmu
    GLOBAL WARMING SUCKAAAAAA

  • dcs0582:

    Who stands to gain financially from the global warming hoax? Follow the money, folks. Follow. The. Money.

  • TrickyEmu:

    Don’t trust him. He is going to die soon. He will never see how global warming will rape our families.

  • sniffy45:

    Awesome, Im glad people like this guy have the testinal fortitude to say “this is all bullshit” its just anohter bullshit conspiracy to suck more money out of us. Fuck you Al Gore…

  • zippizuppizappi:

    “Mark” ist ein Wrestling Begriff, den Internetfans für Leute verwenden, die denken, dass Wrestling Real und nicht gescripted ist.

    Und der eizige, der hier “brilliante” Kommentare vom STapel lässt, bist du. Sie sind brilliant DÄMLICH!

    Und nun noch etwas in Englisch, was du sicher verstehen solltes:
    Go and fuck your mother FUCKFACE. fuck her deep in her ass, she likes it…

  • zippizuppizappi:

    stupid bitch…

  • RevolutionistsRUs:

    Mr. Madison, what you’ve just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
