This film by the documentary-maker Martin Durkin presents the arguments of scientists and commentators who don’t believe that CO2 produced by human activity is the main cause of climate change. It’s all to scare the shit out of us folks! The Illuminati set this up to make us, the people of the world, the problem. Don’t believe it! Resist the New World Order!!!!
@chitnisrohit This documentary is a rebuttal to Al Gore’s movie “An Inconvenient Truth” which believes in man made global warming. Go watch that one and then watch this one. Of course they only interview the side that doesn’t believe in man made global warming. Would you ask a religious person why god isn’t real? It doesn’t make sense to do that.
Every argument has two sides and this documenty only talks abot one side, thus it makes it a one sided debate and this documentry is NOT TRUSTWORTHY. There are 95% scientists who believe in global warming and only 5% don’t, however this documenty only seems to interview the 5%!!

Right on, Pascal. Talk about the politics of fear If we don’t comply the construction of trans democratic entities to scale back capitalism and industry then we are doomed. We are being treated like sheep and are being herded with claps and whistles into giving up our freedom. I LIKE the idea of greening our economy for a host of reasons, but not at the cost of our freedom and not at the cost of forgoing accountability on those who govern us.

We cannot base what is happening now in the global climate on what happened during the Jurassic Period. CO2 concentrations as of January 2010: 388.62 ppm. The upper safety limit is 350. What the heck is mankind doing to this fragile Earth?! We need to change our ways and wake up!
reezlaw. millions of years ago volcanoes/warming etc happened it took 5,000 years to build up 900 p.p.m of CO2 it devastated the environment made oceans into cess pools and it took nature 250,000 years to put the carbon back through oceans ,land mass and vegetation. The stuff we are burning NOW is the stuff the Earth stored. We are at 380 p.p.m of CO2 and rapidly rising in less than 200 years. If we don’t find new ways to produce energy we will rapidly get to the tipping point no one can stop.
Tambar, you clearly haven’t watched the entire documentary, and you also haven’t truly educated yourself on this issue. The amount of those gases produced by us is BY FAR irrelevant if compared to the amount of greenhouse gases that is produced by the rest of planet (volcanoes, animals, dead plants and most importantly the oceans). Also, history shows that world temperatures drive CO2 amounts, and not vice-versa!

The most reasonable current alternative energy source is nuclear. It would be wonderful if we could just replace oil with renewables, but they simple don’t produce nearly enough BTUs for anything approaching a reasonable cost — not currently.
Do a study on greenhouse gases which include CO2 they do sustain life on earth by keeping the temperature fluctuations at a minimum. But when the large amounts of CO2 that nature trapped for millions of years is released by humans then it will have an effect. It took around 900 p.p.m of CO2 in Dinosaur times to turn oceans into cess pools, we are 40% of the way there and rising without the numerous volcanic eruptions. Al Gore didn’t write any science papers on climate so why reference him?
The energy can come from solar,geo thermal,wind etc if you build it. The amounts of iron ore/coal etc used to manufacture steel is far less than a coal fired power station and a lot of steel can be recycled. Vanadium comes from the ground and recycling steel. It took nature thousands of years of volcanic action to get CO2 4 times higher than pre-industry. We are going to match this amount in another 100 years. And I don’t see volcanoes everywhere. The Oil we get now is from the mass extinction.
Sorry to inform you, but manufacturing solar arrays and vanadium batteries requires one thing–energy. The majority of that energy will come from the combustion of coal. I am glad that you are concerned, however, the problem does not rest entirely on humans and their will to industrialize. As was mentioned in the documentary (if you watched it in its entirety) that global warming actually increases carbon dioxide. Not to mention that nature–rather than humans–releases more carbon dioxide.

CO2 is a greenhouse gas like methane and nitrous oxide. It sustains plant life and keeps the earth from having extremes of hot and cold. Nature has had a balance humans have exceeded that balance by pumping in CO2,Methane etc at a far greater rate than nature can cope with. Excess garbage is a pollutant, excess CO2 becomes a pollutant as it endangers the balanced greenhouse effect provided by nature.
Look… you can be yapping about something being benficial but its not beneficial unlesss people choose it. I choose ecology when it tries to beat the prices. Like insulation, effective water circulation systems.

I would be happy to have more diversified market of energy sources, but it cannot be managed by government.

Ever heard of Geo-Thermal, Solar thermal,Vanadium Batts. The large 24/7 solar plant being built in California. There are solutions right now. The Coal/Oil industries that you worship are squealing like pigs because renewables mean decentralisation of power. They are the ones wanting carbon taxes to pay for the transition but the non western countries at copenhagen rejected the extortionist who own our democracies. They own our democracies because we vote for Business Party A or Business Party B.
I agree with what you said 100% but that is not the goal of this global warming scam. It is about a global tax on the very air we breath. Global carbon tax … global carbon credit scam … cap & trade rip off scam. It never ends … they are just getting started on the ways they will tax us to death to do nothing but line their pockets. We need to start looking after this planet but stealing from the masses through never ending enviro taxes is not the route we should be taking … and we are.

If countries adopt renewable and sustainable energy they will retain their sovereignty by a far greater measure than they are today. They won’t have to buy Oil or any other energy sourced material in US dollars they won’t have to spend money on looking for oil and the US won’t have to spend billions invading oil countries and maintaining bases around the world. Pollution from war is a minor problem considering that… hmmm let me think – people die in wars (pollution is irrelevant).
Wind,solar and all the others are ineffective. If they were effective they would probably be already used massively.
Only pollution that we should care about is a real pollution, acid rains, toxins in rivers etc. Something that affects us…
